A JCA | Blazers Learning Center Partnership

A community based after school program that provides:

• A safe haven for students transitioning from the Caribbean/West Indian countries into the Los Angeles area schools and community.
• An alternative to the culture shock with a smooth transition to the educational and social environment of Los Angeles.
• Personal, social and academic support to students and their parents.
• Mentoring, tutoring and after school activities
• Activities and programs that sustain cultural pride and knowledge of heritage while also sharing their culture with other kids.

YOUTH PARTICIPATION REQUIRES FULL MANDATORY INVOLVEMENT BY PARENT OR GUARDIAN.
Parents/guardians must attend workshops
